‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ To Hit Theaters This December

 

 

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour concluded in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday, October 1st, and during this momentous event, the revered icon treated her fans to a sneak peek of her upcoming cinematic masterpiece, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.”

Audiences can anticipate the release of this eagerly awaited project in theaters this coming December.

According to a synopsis, the film will “accentuate the journey of the tour, from its inception, to its opening.” Fans will get to see all of the “Cuff It” star’s “creative process” and “involvement in every aspect of the production.”

In the 2-minute trailer Bey starts by saying:

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged. Start over, start fresh, create the new — that’s what the Renaissance is about.”

According to Vibe The documentary won’t be Bey’s first.

In 2018, she released the Netflix special Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, which documented Bey’s Coachella performance. The 42-year-old served as the first Black woman to headline the annual festival.

Tickets for Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé are available now, as it will be shown in multiple theaters across North America.
